Thank you, I do it mostly by ear, I haven’t had to read music in over 20 years. There are some videos that I use from youtube that are isolated bass lines. Very hard sometimes to hear all the notes on a 40 year old recording. P.S. I saw a movie recently that apparently everyone else has seen. “Standing in the Shadows of Motown”. Story of the Funk Brothers. I saw it about two weeks ago and have been on a Motown roll lately.
